Haircut that Didn't Meet the Cut

My little boy just had his haircut the other day. I had a professional do it because I want him to look good on his pictures this holiday season. I've been doing his haircut for the past two months because I want to save some money but unfortunately my husband is not impressed with my hair-cutting skills. He'd rather spend $10-12 a month than see his son looking like one of the Three Stooges. Haha! But in my opinion, it's really not that awful. I know I can do better. All I need is a little practice, a handful of gel (LOL!) and this hair cutting shears from MySalonTools.com and my son will look as good as those kids who had their haircut done by a pro.

Somewhere Warmer

I love living here in Salt Lake but unfortunately, my husband doesn't share the same sentiment. He wants to move out of state and live where it's warmer. He also wants to buy a house with a swimming pool and a big backyard so he can host cookouts for friends year-round. Well, I'm not against the moving and buying a house but a pool... hmnnn... I think he should reconsider. We don't even know how much maintenance will cost. Yes, we can buy a generic salt cell replacement, but what about other maintenance cost right?

Just a Thought...

Maybe some friendships aren't meant to be saved; maybe we are meant to spend a certain part of our lives with certain people, and MOVE ON...

They Got the Box!

I am so happy because my family finally got the balikbayan box I shipped last month. I thought there would be a delay because of the super typhoon that ravaged the country but thankfully it arrived right on time. But my sisters complained though because opening the box was such a challenge. LOL! I had it wrapped all over with a sturdy packaging tape to secure all the valuables inside. Good thing my dad owns safety cutters so with those in hand plus a little patience, they were able to open the box and enjoy all the goodies I sent them for Christmas.

Where to Find Affordable Transportation When Planning a Party

Planning a party in New York City can take a lot of time. Organizers need to find affordable ways to get all of the party guests to the same places at the same times, and this is easier said than done. Transportation is often more expensive than food, booking fees and other costs, and large bills don't always guarantee reliable transportation services.

For an affordable NYC party in NYC, party-goers need low-cost, flexible transportation. However, low-quality transportation is rarely acceptable; a poorly maintained vehicle or an unprofessional driver can quickly throw a well-planned party into disarray.

Party organizers should hire an appropriate car service in order to guarantee a great experience for all of the guests. Ideally, they look for a car service with a large fleet of well-maintained vehicles. Car services with large fleets can accommodate wedding parties, work events and everything in between.

Different types of vehicles offer different sets of advantages. A limousine is an ideal choice for a wedding, for instance, but not necessarily the right choice for a professional meeting. Services like Dial 7 have a large enough selection of vehicles to meet all of their customers' needs, and they provide qualified, experienced drivers to help keep parties on schedule.

A professional transportation company with a variety of vehicles can make it easier to plan an affordable party. By working with companies like Dial 7, organizers can keep costs under control.

The Friday Five

Cellphones!

1. When did you get your first cell phone? I think I was a College freshman at that time.

2. Do you have any special ring tones, if so what are they? Yes, I have. For my hubby, it's "I'm Yours" by Jason Mraz.

3. Does your phone have a camera? Of course! I can't live without one. I'm a self-confessed iPhonographer.

4. What kind of phone do you have now? iPhone.

5. What carrier do you use? I just switched to Solavei. A network where you can generate an income just by inviting friends. If you want to know more about it, please visit Cherraden.com!
