Almost fully furnished!

My husband is coming home soon from overseas. After almost two years of being away from each other because of his work, we will be in each other’s arms again. I can’t wait to show him our newly-furnished house. I have been painstakingly taking care of the said house for more than a year. I just want him to show how his hard work and our sacrifices paid off. Everything is already set except for the television though. I didn't buy one here because my husband already told me that he'd take care of it. He said he will buy one of the best and the biggest sony tvs abroad because our home sweet home deserves only the best.

One time when I went to Miami

Authored by Leandro Delgado

I planned a fab little trip for my boyfriend and I to go on a short weekend trip to Miami a few summers ago. I had only been there once on a spring break trip in college and he had never been. We decided to fly out on a Friday so that we could enjoy at least one full day of fun in the sun before we had to go back to work on Monday. We packed up our swimsuits and sunscreen and headed for the airport. We made it down there no problem and decided to ride their local train system and then take a cab to get to our hotel. So we are riding along on the train when his phone rings with an 800 number. I immediately thought of the house. Since we got our adt saint louis any time the phone rings with an 800 number I am filled with dread. Turns out it was the alarm monitoring service. They let us know that some one or something had set off our alarm and that I was a glass break sensor at the back of the house. This scared the absolute mess out of us considering we were hundreds of miles away and we couldn’t do anything about it. It turns out the dog in the house (which our neighbor was sitting for us) was jumping around barking so loudly in the kitchen that he set off the alarm! Good grief puppy! Way to make my blood pressure jump to 1,000 on my relaxing vacation!

For Her Prom

My sister-in-law has been preparing for their Prom Night of their school. Now just 2 weeks before the big event, she desperately asks for my help about the kind of dress that would really fit her look and personality. So we already started looking for one but to no avail. There was no magic in her eyes when we tried to window shop in malls. So our next move would be to browse on a prom dress online.

Taking a Break

Because I have been working in front of my desktop computer, 24/6 and 7 hours a day, I could already feel that my job is taking a toll on my health. Frequent headaches have been bothering me lately and pain relievers were not as effective as they used to be. My husband told me to give myself a break from work and should check from our family doctor if I already need a migraine treatment so that certain health issues will be properly addressed the soonest time possible.

Yoyo Jam

I am not a yoyo fanatic but I know some basic tricks. I know how to do the walk-the-dog trick and I can also do the around the world trick. And when my son is bigger and older, I'm going to teach him these tricks. I know it's old school but I'd rather have him play a yoyojam than spend the entire day watching TV or playing computer games. I will also introduce other outdoor games that I enjoyed as a child so that he won't grow up a couch potato.
